A Decade of Satisfying Clients with High Expectations
After 20-plus years in healthcare operations and IT, Sandra Jacobs founded Jacobus Consulting. Sandra's experience at the hospital level - which included leadership positions in health information, revenue cycle, coding management, CDM compliance, patient financial services, and patient access - coupled with her unwavering commitment to the mission of healthcare, prompted her to seek to help other organizations in providing excellence in their IT and financial departments through consulting.
Initially, Sandra entered the consulting world in the 1990's by working with several of the largest consulting firms in the industry. Sandra determined that the cookie cutter approach that many of the largest firms used, often didn't meet the clients needs or expectations. Sandra firmly believed, and still does, that a consulting firm should be committed to delivering quality and innovative solutions while still controlling costs and providing measurable value. Thus, our firm was born!
Originally operating under the name Jacobs and Associates, Jacobus Consulting Inc. was incorporated in 2006. For the past five years, Jacobus has been growing rapidly expanding our client base, and perfecting our services and solutions to best assist our clients. Though we've grown and changed our name, one thing hasn't changed, the heart behind our business. We are now, more than ever, dedicated to the mission of healthcare, committed to quality assurance, and driven by client satisfaction.
