Paulette Schroeder, RN, BC, BSN, PMP - Manager, Clinical Systems
Paulette brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a major focus on hospital information systems and a background in nursing. The last 10 years have been focused on working with clinical systems as an applications analyst and providing overall project management on a variety of clinical projects.
Paulette has a background in numerous clinical areas, including oncology, urology, gynecology, ER, pediatrics, orthopedics, and rehab. She has worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse. and director in a variety of clinical departments. Paulette moved to clinical informatics in 2000 as a clinical systems analyst. She implemented EDM with POE in June 2003 and was directly responsible for MEDITECH and other HCIS clinical modules. In 2004, Paulette continued her career in clinical informatics at Catholic Health Initiatives as a MEDITECH clinical applications analyst and later at the National Information Technology Center as a project manager.
As a consultant, Paulette has continued her career in clinical informatics as an Implementation and Optimization Project Manager, a Clinical Information Specialist for PCS, EDM, ORM, and a Project Team Lead for Case Management and UR for a Revenue Cycle re-engineering project at various hospitals in California.
Paulette is a member of several professional organizations and is certified in ITIL and nursing informatics. She speaks often at vendor and industry trade shows and conferences.
