Bill Watson
Bill is responsible for marketing, business development, and partnering activities for Jacobus. He has been in the IT industry since 1983 in various leadership roles including: business development, product management, marketing communications, sales management, and project management. He previously worked in the healthcare, government, finance, and telecommunications industries with Bell and Howell, Hitachi, GTE Government Systems, Portal Software, Intelliden and Vericept.
Bill has broad experience in successfully applying IT solutions to business challenges as well as closely aligning project objectives with senior executive goals. This has included solutions in medical records, billing, application integration, security, document management and imaging, and business process and workflow redesign.
Bill’s engagements have included project management, multiple Revenue Cycle redesign efforts, complex software development, application software implementation and integration, and business process and workflow redesign. Of note was a complex multimillion-dollar order management, EDI integration, software development and workflow redesign project at Microsoft, where Bill was the on-site project manager and delivered the project on time and in budget.
Bill has a BA degree in sociology, with a minor in business and finance, from Whitworth University. He is a member of HIMSS and HFMA.
