William Gustin, MD, is an Internal Medicine Specialist with over 17 years of diversified experience in healthcare. Dr. Gustin is a specialist in hospital and internal medicine, as well as EHR development, implementation, and support. Among his long list of accomplishments, Dr. Gustin has lead a number of medical ministry projects for PEACE Healthcare of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA. This effort included the advancement of the ‘Clinical Church’ methodology for HIV screening and church-centered health promotion.
As an active participant in medical missions, Dr. Gustin has made several trips to Kibuye, Rwanda to help educate local healthcare volunteers, known as PEACE trainers, who provide general services to the community. During these visits, Dr. Gustin became a strong proponent of tele-health and tele-education as well as the power of the EHR to transform both patient care and the patient-physician relationship. As a result of his exemplary work in hospital and internal medicine, the International Association of Healthcare Professionals (IAHCP) selected Dr. Gustin as the featured physician in the first publication of The Leading Physicians of the World.
