Paulette Schroeder is the Vice President of Healthcare Consulting Services for Jacobus Consulting. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the quality outcomes of services from our Healthcare Consulting Services organization; developing and expanding strategic relationships with Jacobus customers; managing key business initiatives; and developing relationships with Jacobus business partners. Paulette brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a major focus on hospital information systems and Nursing Leadership. Her extensive healthcare experience enhances the breadth and value of services delivered to Jacobus clients across the country.
Paulette has a background in numerous clinical areas, including oncology, urology, gynecology, ER, pediatrics, orthopedics, and rehab. She has worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and director in a variety of clinical departments. Paulette moved to clinical informatics in 2000 as a clinical systems analyst. She implemented Emergency Services technology and CPOE early in the clinical informatics implementations. In this role she was responsible for several HCIS clinical modules. In 2004, Paulette continued her career in clinical informatics at Catholic Health Initiatives National Information Technology Center as a clinical applications leader. The last 15 years have been focused on working with clinical systems as a clinical applications leader and providing overall project management on a variety of clinical projects.
As Vice President of Healthcare Consulting Services with Jacobus, Paulette has continued her career in clinical informatics as an Implementation and Optimization Project Manager, a Clinical Information Specialist for various HCIS clinical applications as well as clinical analytics. She has served as a Project Team Lead for Case Management and UR for a Revenue Cycle re-engineering project at various hospitals across the country. Paulette conducts system and process audits and is a resource for Meaningful Use, MACRA, and other initiatives.
Paulette is a member of several professional organizations and is certified in ITIL and nursing informatics. She is an industry expert who speaks often at vendor and industry trade shows and conferences.
